What “Research Use Only” Means

Everything we sell is labeled research use only (RUO). Here is what that means, in plain terms — and why our copy is deliberately restrained.

A material, not a product for people

Research-use-only means a compound is intended for laboratory research and is not for human or animal consumption. It is not a drug, a supplement, or a treatment, and nothing on this site is medical advice or a therapeutic claim.

That framing isn’t marketing fine print — it’s the actual, legal nature of these materials.

Why we don’t oversell

We describe what a compound is — name, form, size, purity — and stop there. We do not describe outcomes, benefits, or uses in people, because doing so would be both non-compliant and dishonest about what these materials are.

Statements on this site have not been evaluated by the FDA.

What you can rely on

What we will stand behind is quality you can verify: third-party testing, a Certificate of Analysis on every batch, and lot-level traceability. Enter any batch code on the Verify page to pull its exact certificate.

Research use only. Information for laboratory handling — not medical, dosing, or administration guidance.
